Spokane County Library members: check out family passes to the MAC and Mobius!

Library customers check out family passes to Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture and Mobius Children’s Museum and Science Center

Spokane County Library District announces the exciting new offering for library customers to visit local cultural and educational centers by checking out family museum passes, available at all libraries.

In partnership with the Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture (MAC) and Mobius Children’s Museum and Mobius Science Center, the Family Museum Pass Program is for a single-day admission for a family of 2 adults and up to 4 children. The family museum pass for Mobius will get you into either location, or both, on the same day. Each pass is available on a first-come, first-served basis and has a 7-day checkout period.

The MAC is currently featuring “Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition” through May 20, 2018. The exhibit is educational, emotional, and appropriate for all age levels and shares stories of heroism and humanity that honor to the indomitable force of the human spirit in the face of tragedy, along with authentic artifacts recovered from the wreck site and extensive room re-creations.

Both Mobius Science Center and Children’s Museum spark curiosity and ignite imagination, featuring hands-on activities for the whole family, such as Bubbleology at the Children’s Museum and the Science Center’s “Tinker – Create – Invent –Hack” event: Cardboard Construction.

Family museum passes can be checked out and placed on hold online through the Library District’s online catalog at www.scld.org and in person at all District libraries.

The family museum pass lending program has been generously funded by the Friends of Spokane County Library District.
