Four local Banner Bank employees receive awards
Banner Bank has awarded the 2014 Banner’s Best Award to the following Spokane recipients: Story Comer, Jackie Scotch, Irina Kryukova, Marcy Bennett, and Christi Kile. The award is given to employees who deliver exemplary service and products to clients.

Greg Konkol assumes INWAC Board of Directors Chair position
The Inland Northwest Aerospace Consortium (INWAC) Board of Directors is
currently transitioning, as Greg Konkol of Accra-Fab assumes the role of Chairperson, while Michael Marzetta of Altek steps down after a three-year term. The INWAC Board of Directors works to promote the collaboration among aerospace manufacturers and service providers in the Inland Northwest.

CenturyLink awards technology grants
CenturyLink Inc. recently awarded $60,000 in Clark M. Williams Foundation‘s Teacher and Technology grants to Eastern Washington schools. Schools in the Spokane area that received grants include North Pines Middle School and Seth Woodard Elementary School, both in Spokane Valley, and Shiloh Hills and Logan elementary schools, both on Spokane’s North Side.

Donation of laptops by Integrus Architecture boosts homeless outreach efforts
Integrus recently donated four used Dell laptops to SNAP. The computers allow staff to complete assessments on-site as they meet with clients throughout Spokane County to work on housing stability plans, as well as for transitional and rapid rehousing programs during visits to places like the Geiger Corrections Center as part of Spokane County’s Re-Entry program for those about to transition from incarceration.
