Once Upon a Child Opening a North Location

once upon a child“I gained a competitive edge using selectspokane.com when searching for my second location. Browsing commercial sites and using the demographic data and business reports helped me narrow options for the new site. I talked over the data with my realtor and the decision making was easier.”
–Tom Lewis, Owner, Once Upon a Child

After nine years of growth at the Spokane Valley location, Tom Lewis was thinking about adding a second shop. During the expansion process, Tom met with Greater Spokane Incorporated’s economic development team to discuss the region’s business climate and learn about the selectspokane.com web tool . Reports including household income and age distribution were helpful in evaluating potential sites.

Once Upon a Child is a national franchise that buys and sells gently used children’s clothing and merchandise. By buying local and recycling outgrown (not outworn) clothing, the shops are good for the planet.

The new location at 6005 North Division opened TO BUY for inventory on Monday, November 2. Watch their website for the grand opening.
