Washington state export sales grew to $90.6 billion in 2014, a double-digit increase from 2013 and a new record. With 95% of the world’s consumers and 80% of its purchasing power outside the US it comes as no surprise that Washington companies are taking advantage of growing world markets. Additionally, across the US, more than 97% of the 293,000 companies that export their products are small and medium-sized companies.
