You are invited to attend a Rally for Schools event on January 27 in support of Spokane County School Districts Bond and Levy Measures. Speakers include Lisa Brown, Mayor, City of Spokane; Alisha Benson, CEO, GSI; Ezra Eckhardt, CEO, STCU; and school student and staff members.

The event is free and open to the public.

WHAT: Rally for Schools
WHEN: Saturday, January 27 from 10:30 – 11:30 am
WHERE: The Red Wagon, Downtown Spokane
Price: Free to attend

Greater Spokane Inc.’s (GSI) Board of Trustees recently voted to support the passage of upcoming regional school bond and levy measures. Funding from the bonds and levies fills an important gap between what the state funds and what programs cost. It goes toward essential classroom materials and extracurricular activities that enhance core curriculum classes, infrastructure, technology, safety and security, and building improvements.
