Dear Community Members and Partners,

The Alzheimer’s Association, Washington State Chapter is launching a series of Community Forums across the state to help us first, identify the needs and gaps in Alzheimer’s Association programs and services for care partners, family members, friends and those living with dementia in your community, and second, assist us in finding potential volunteers to help address the needs that surface at these Forums.
As a valued member of our community, we would be very pleased if you could attend our upcoming Forum on April 12 3:30 – 5:00p.m. at the Corbin Senior Activity Center to provide input. If you are not able to join us, we encourage you to share this invitation with others in your organization or in your network.
Additionally, we would appreciate you extending the invitation to known professional community partners and government officials who may have an interest, as well as to your family/friends/clients/constituents who are directly impacted by dementia and who might want to participate. We are interested in all thoughts and ideas, and look forward to hearing from a range of diverse populations across Spokane county.
Attached is a flier with event details. Again, feel free to distribute this to those you know and post it at sites that could help us reach our intended audience of professional stakeholders and those impacted by the disease.
Thank you in advance for your interest and for your assistance in our outreach efforts. We look forward to seeing you at the Forum! Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me with any further questions.
Sincerely,
Kim McKenna
