Building a Sustainable Nonprofit

Do you have an idea for a nonprofit? This workshop is for people thinking about, or in the early phases of, starting a nonprofit organization and focuses on those areas that will help you build your nonprofit on a strong foundation for long-term sustainability. Topics include; the steps involved in incorporating, obtaining tax-exempt status from the IRS, building a sustainable business model, fundraising strategies, forming a board of directors and how to utilize the board effectively.

Cost: $25 per person with advance registration; $40 at the door.
