Consulting Engineering Business AfterSchool

During this workshop, high school students will get a brief introduction and overview of Coffman Engineers as a whole. Participants will then be divided into small groups and visit the different engineering discipline stations of Civil/Land Survey, Structural, Commercial Mechanical, Industrial Mechanical and Electrical. Each station will:

• Discuss their respective engineering discipline
• Touch on why they wanted to become an engineer in that discipline
• Show some examples of work
• Offer a problem solving activity

This workshop is designed specifically for high school students.

For more than 40 years, Coffman Engineers has provided civil, structural, industrial mechanical, fire protection, process piping, commercial mechanical, electrical engineering and controls, lighting, project management, commissioning, and corrosion control engineering. The company serves as prime and sub-consultant on large, small, and diverse projects.
