Elementary Science: Exploring Open Educational Resources & Integration 3-5

This professional learning experience for elementary teachers includes:
Learning more about OER as an instructional material strategy
Accessing the OER Commons and the Washington OER Hub
Immersion into the NGSS and Washington-created, grade-levelresources centered on integrating Science with Climate Learning,ELA, Math, Engineering and an emphasis on STEM and the NGSS as a lever for equity

Each professional learning series will include a 1-day face-to-face session and follow-up virtualsession(s) to support engagement and implementation with students.

Eligible for up to 10 STEM/Equity clock hours:
5-hour in-person Saturday PD at the Talbott Event Center
Two (optional) 1-hr Zoom support followup sessions
Up to 3 hours for asynchronous implementation with students and evaluation
