Communicating in Times of Change:  How to Provide Clarity, Continuity, & Connection

How do you effectively manage your message during periods of uncertainty or change? Crafting consistent, authentic messaging can be tricky, daunting, and time-consuming. While many leaders intend to provide clarity, alleviate fear, and minimize disruption, often their approach has the opposite impact. Leaders unintentionally heighten misunderstanding by falling into some common- yet unproductive- communication patterns.  Simple mistakes, such as assuming people define words the same way, using generalizations or clichés, or attempting to alleviate discomfort by focusing only on the positive, can lead to frustration and disconnect.  Eva’s mini-workshop will challenge you to build your capacity to think, interact and communicate in ways that provide your organization or team with the clarity, continuity, and connection needed to build trust, align focus, and navigate change effectively.
