JumpStart Event – Fostering Inclusive Development through Entrepreneurial Ecosystems Insights from Vietnam

Join us for an engaging talk on "Fostering Inclusive Development through Entrepreneurial Ecosystems: Insights from Vietnam", where we will explore how entrepreneurial ecosystems can drive inclusive growth. Through real-world case studies from Vietnam, we'll examine strategies that promote economic opportunities and empower underrepresented communities. Additionally, we will discuss unique considerations when doing business in Vietnam, offering valuable insights for business leaders, entrepreneurs, and policymakers interested in creating more inclusive, sustainable development in international markets.

Dr. Duy Dang is a Senior Lecturer and Senior Program Manager for PhD programs at The Business School, RMIT Vietnam, specializing in Management Information Systems (MIS), Digital Transformation, Data Analytics, and Information Security Management. He leads and mentors PhD candidates while holding leadership roles in research groups such as the Global Business Innovation ECP at RMIT Australia. Dr. Dang also collaborates on international projects with NGOs and government agencies and is a Co-founder of the Vietnam Chapter of the Association for Information Systems (VAIS). In 2024, he was named a Fulbright U.S. Scholar-in-Residence at Gonzaga University.

Soline Linh Le works, teaches, researches, consults specifically in 2 fields: Sustainable Tourism (Ecotourism, Medical tourism, Inclusive tourism) and Gender equality. Her research interests are entrepreneurial ecosystems/networks, women entrepreneurship, and digital transformation in the mentioned contexts. She is often referred to as "an ecosystem builder" in both business and philanthropy worlds. As a woman entrepreneur, Vietnam Dental Tourism was Soline's proudest project since 2017, an ecosystem connecting all the stakeholders to provide medical tourism in destination Vietnam via quality control and destination branding (in dental tourism segment). Soline actively mentors many other female entrepreneurs to contribute and support the women business community. She is also a grantee and project lead for several seasons with the U.S. Consulate General HCMC, running projects to raise awareness and create impacts on Gender equality, diversity and inclusion such as Women Empowerment Club HCMC since 2019 and Gender equality across industries project (GEAI). Her vision is to raise public awareness in the "gender equality" issues, which have been existing across many fields and sectors in Vietnam. Since 2021, GEAI has raised awareness and empowered ipacts in major industries: Media, Non-profits, Beauty & Fashion, Education, Journalism, Digital Games.
