From the beginning people have relied on myths and legends to give explanation of the world around them. From providing a framework for understanding natural phenomena, to giving voice to every step in the journey of life from birth, to death traditions, myths and legends give us context, keeping us steady as we take each step toward the future, the unknown. Today we also have our myths & legends, we call them psychology, or biology, or science. Names change, but the stories remain.

For this show, Esther focused on re-telling these ancient tales in a new light, using her own unique style and imagination to bring them to life. Whether you are a fan of science fiction & fantasy, or simply a lover of great storytelling, you will find something to inspire and delight in this collection.

Stop by the Liberty Gallery in the Historic Liberty Building in June to experience this great show ~ open daily from 11am to 7pm. The First Friday reception is June 2, 2023; 5pm–9pm.
