Raising Cane’s Ribbon Cutting Grand Opening

Clear the calendar, Spokane! Chicken Finger sensation Raising Cane’s is debuting its first Restaurant in the Lilac City at 9252 N. Newport Highway on Tuesday, Sept. 9 with a grand opening celebration the Community will never forget.

Cane’s has been servin’ it up the same way since 1996 and is ready to share its ONE LOVE® with Spokane for the first time, which includes hand-battered Chicken Fingers, buttery Cane’s toast, crispy coleslaw, crinkle-cut fries and its award-winning Cane’s Sauce®.

Located in north Spokane, the new Raising Cane’s marks the Brand’s second Washington Restaurant and features a double-lane Drive-Thru perfect for ordering Craveable Chicken Finger Meals® on-the-go. After deciding between a Box Combo®, Caniac™ Combo, 3 Finger Combo® or Kids Combo, Customers are encouraged to look around the Restaurant and admire the local memorabilia specifically curated with the Spokane Community in mind. From vintage relics of local high schools to keepsakes paying homage to some of the area’s most notable faces, the new Restaurant’s dining room features a treasure trove of local historic touches.

To commemorate the monumental Spokane debut, Raising Cane’s is enlisting the help of Gonzaga basketball stars Steele Venters, Braeden Smith and Zeryhia Aokuso. The fan-favorite players will arrive at approximately 9 a.m. on grand opening day and participate in the ribbon cutting ceremony, serve Customers, take photos and sign autographs with eager fans waiting in line.

Doors open at 10 a.m., but Chicken Finger fans are encouraged to secure a place in line early, as the festivities will kick off with an array of exciting giveaways and can’t-miss celebrations for the Community, including:

● A “Lucky 20” drawing to award 20 Customers (age 13 and older) Free Cane’s for a Year! Entries are accepted from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. with the drawing held shortly after. Customers must be present to win.

● The first 100 Combos purchased will receive a commemorative hat and a free Box Combo Card, valid on a future visit. Limit one hat and card per Combo purchased—while supplies last.

● Customer No. 1 in line receives major Cane’s kudos with a big welcome greeting from all of the Crew and a one-of-a-kind gift basket.

● Appearances from Gonzaga men’s and women’s basketball players, spirit squad and Spike the Bulldog mascot.

● A check presentation to Communities in Schools of Northeast Washington.

● A ribbon-cutting ceremony with members of the Spokane Chamber of Commerce beginning at approximately 9:45 a.m.

● A DJ spinning tunes to entertain the crowd throughout the day.

The new Raising Cane’s is open Sunday through Thursday from 10 to 1 a.m. with extended hours Friday and Saturday from 10 to 2 a.m. to satisfy late-night Chicken Finger cravings.
