*Due to the popularity of our programs, attendance is limited to educators only*

Local middle and high school educators (classroom teachers, counselors, advisors, etc.) are invited to attend a free 2-stop workshop to learn from and tour two major manufacturing companies located in Liberty Lake, WA. Attendees will get a tour of both facilities for an up-close look at both professional and skilled trades positions. Demand in particular for the skilled trades is at an all-time high across all categories of manufacturing, and the need for STEM-based education is an integral part of success for employment.

Stop 1: Accra-Fab is an industry-leading sheet metal company with a footprint of 150,000 s/f of manufacturing and over 200 employees. Attendees will see all phases of sheet metal fabrication, coating/painting/plating, assembly, welding and other ancillary manufacturing disciplines. Accra-Fab serves high-tech markets like aerospace, medical and electronics. Prepare to have your assumptions about metal manufacturing challenged when you come on this amazing tour.

Stop 2: Altek is a world-class provider of injection molding and machining. Like Accrafab, their customer list includes world famous companies in the aerospace and medical markets. This is a huge facility with all phases of injection molding and machining, as well as some extensive assembly work that combines both disciplines.

We hope to see you there!
