**ALL FALL 2021 TEACH THE TEACHER IN PERSON WORKSHOPS HAVE BEEN POSTPONED TO SPRING 2022**

About the workshop: Millennials are obsessed with small business and entrepreneurship. Students want to support small brands that tell a story. Our future entrepreneurs are committed to niche brands who care about sourcing and ethics. During our Craft(ED) Teaching the Teachers workshop we'll explore three local crafts, engaging in providing a better customer experience. From Spiceology's local startup story and over 200 spice blend creations, to Latah Creek's family-owned, esteemed winemaking, and locally owned Trailbreaker Cider’s tasting room where 24 rotating new and exciting cider flavors are always on tap in Liberty Lake, you will experience small brands at their best.

Spiceology was conceived at StartUp Spokane's 2013 StartUp Weekend and is the fastest growing Chef Owned, Chef Operated spice company in the U.S. Spiceology is disrupting the spice industry with its innovative blends and innovative packaging. They offer over 200 spices, blends, herbs, chiles, salts, and modernist ingredients.

Latah Creek Wine Cellars, established in 1982 by Mike and Ellena Conway, is a pioneer in Washington State's emerging wine scene. Their focus has been making wines with natural balance and complexity through the use of traditional, old-world winemaking principles and the selection of extraordinary fruit. This family-owned winery continues to blaze new trails in winemaking, producing new varieties each season along with their acclaimed lineup of established wines.

Trailbreaker Cider was established in 2019 after the completion of a new state-of-the-art cidery here in Liberty Lake, WA.  Originally formed as a partnership between two friends turned brother-in-laws, Trailbreaker Cider is a family-owned business that focuses on creating unique craft ciders meant to appeal to beverage lovers of all types.  As one of the only cideries in America that goes from apple to finished product in one facility, year-round, this fast-growing company has been quick to the Spokane cider scene and also features a wonderful restaurant and event space for all ages to enjoy!
