Come out to the party! A celebration, if you will, celebrating all things entertainment, celebrating all pieces of humanity and ….well….just celebrating. Host Jonathan Shuffield (of the popular podcast The QueerCentric) and his team will entertain you in this late-night talk show format as we celebrate the movies with film critic, Nathan Box, will laugh with local comedian Chris Jessop and we might even have a musical number! It is definitely a night you will not soon forget.

The audio/video podcast, The QueerCentric, launched in August of 2022 and has been demanding notice from the beginning. Why another podcast? Because the more queer voices and the louder we raise those voices, the better! In a world hellbent on erasing us, we MUST speak and NOT just for the version that settles better in middle America, but for all of us. Every body type, no matter how we identify ourselves, every letter of our queer alphabet and beyond The brand promotes space for everyone, every version of yourself that you show up as. With the recent release of their body positivity digital holiday cards they have stepped up to embody these values.

With the debut performance of their LIVE show: TQC: NOW THAT’S ENTERTAINMENT on February 25th in association with the Spokane Public Library they intend to take the next step. The LIVE show format will be similar to an actual late-night talk show a la Jimmy Kimmel or James Corden. It will feature local queer talent/guests. Rest assured there will be something for everyone, queer or not. In celebrating entertainment we find a common ground for all people. A place to transcend our perceived differences and see that we really are all the same. Be ready to have a great time, to be fully entertained and to make new friends! In a World that seems to focus on what makes us different, it’s time to come together and remember, in the words of Maya Angelou, “We are more alike than we are unalike.”
