GSI welcomes new VP of Investor Relations and Membership Account Manager

Jamie Dedmon recently joined Greater Spokane Incorporated as the VP of Investor Relations. She is responsible for the overall direction of the Investor Relations department. This  team is committed to being the conduit of connection as they help build your business, expand your resources and boost your company’s visibility. It is our goal to help create something greater for your business and our community.

A graduate of Park University with a degree in Marketing Management, Jamie brings more than 20 years of experience in strategy, branding and marketing, innovation, culture development, leadership and change management. She has spent the past 12 years investing her talents within the credit union industry working with wonderful organizations such as the Northwest Credit Union Association/Foundation, STCU and Global Credit Union. Jamie is also a 2010 Leadership Spokane graduate. Always a champion for our Spokane community, Jamie is also a member of numerous non-profit community based organizations.

Jamie is excited to be a part of an organization that leads transformative business and community initiatives that build a robust economy. When she’s not busy being a change agent for our community you will find her enjoying the beautiful great outdoors.

Jared Tawney – Membership Account Manager

Jared Tawney is GSI’s newest Membership Account Manager. He’ll be developing connections with prospective members and identifying valuable opportunities and connections within our community. Jared is also involved in developing new processes and procedures for GSI. Arriving from Hawaii in December, Jared previously worked as an Operations Analyst for First Hawaiian Bank in Honolulu, but has since turned in his surfboard for a snowboard. Beyond the office, you can find Jared spending time outdoors with his family or exploring some of our area restaurants and breweries.

Meg Lindsay promoted to Director of Education & Workforce 

We are excited to announce that Meg Lindsay was recently promoted to Director of Education & Workforce. Meg has served as the Education & Workforce Program Manager for the last five years, and has been an integral part of our organization since coming on board. In her new role, she’ll lead our Greater Minds initiative and the Spokane STEM Network, oversee department staff, and coordinate community, education, business, and government collaboration.
