IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Chief Executive Officer

EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Regular, Full-time; Non-Exempt – Administrative

 

GSI is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the Chief Executive Officer, the Board of Trustees, and the Executive Committee, by managing the scheduling and flow of essential information, data, and people. They will also be tasked with managing the executive office and providing key support for all other departments within the organization.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, acting as the administrative agent for all Board activity, facilitating the coordination aspects of Board and Committee meetings including the preparation/distribution of agendas and the composition/preparation of meeting minutes, maintaining exceptional organization of appropriate schedules, activities, and events for the CEO, Board, and Committee, establishing and maintaining an efficient record keeping system, travel arrangements, composing a variety of documents including correspondence and reports, and any other high level administrative functions as assigned.

Minimum qualifications include an Associate Degree and/or equivalent experience in an executive level support role and a valid state driver’s license free of serious or frequent traffic violations. Most importantly, the ideal candidate will have the ability to exercise tact, good judgement, and initiative and will perform all tasks with a positive, professional demeanor that is respectful of colleagues, supervisors, GSI members, and the general public.
