More than just a Scholarship!

The Washington State Opportunity Scholarship (WSOS) application opens on January 3, 2019. The WSOS provides up to $22,500 per year for up to five years in scholarship. In addition, students who earn this scholarship get small group peer advising by experienced Scholars to adjust to campus life, access resources and build a community.

One-on-one advising from an industry professional who is committed to helping scholars prepare for the workforce and launch their career is also available to those who receive the WSOS. Lastly, Scholars receive connections to professionals, networks and companies offering internships, health care observerships and jobs. So, you can see it is more than just money; its goal is to provide Washington students pathways into high-demand Washington careers. Eligibility and application details can be found here.

Don’t delay, the scholarship application period is from January 3 to February 8, 2019. To learn more about this opportunity and apply, click here.
