Spokane STEM is supported by Greater Spokane Incorporated in partnership with the NorthEast Washington Education Service District 101 (NEWESD 101).
The Spokane STEM Network fills a niche in our community that no other organization fills by working to transform the way we think, learn, work, and live through STEM by enhancing STEM education opportunities for all youth in the region. Therefore, the number of students pursuing and achieving success in STEM careers will be increased. Our goal is to reduce the STEM skills gap and grow Washington’s economy.
The STEM Network is an action-oriented partnership among multiple organizations within a defined geographic area, working toward a common goal of increasing student success in STEM. This community-based strategy engages schools, businesses, governments, and other stakeholders to drive innovation and improvements in STEM teaching and learning at a systems level. The Network is led by an Executive Leadership team comprised of local business professionals and influential education representatives.
