Local entrepreneurs Pete Taylor and Joel Barbour have partnered to launch PNW Provisions, a snacks and beverages company with a line of caffeinated energy bars, trail mixes, trailhead bars, and locally roasted coffee. Taylor and Barbour created a Kickstarter campaign and exceeded their goal of $10,000 within 24 hours. The campaign ends Friday, September 30, and has plans to roll out additional products such as beef jerky and condiments. PNW Provisions will be available online and in the Great PNW’s retail store on October 15th, and they have been talking with Spokane-based coffee roaster Thomas Hammer about a potential partnership. Learn more at the Spokesman Review or Journal of Business.
