GSI Welcomes BioSensor to Spokane

DahlBioSensor, previously known as Dahl Natural, researches real-time, low-cost pesticide monitoring for food and water safety via an automated electrochemical monitoring device.  After GSI’s initial outreach, Dahl received funding from Health Sciences & Services Authority (HSSA) and moved from Corvallis, OR to Spokane. They have already connected with WSU Spokane’s College of Pharmacy and collaborated with one of WSU’s prominent researchers on a federal grant.

Dahl is leasing lab space at Providence in the South Hill medical area. The group includes one full-time employee, several part-time, and contractors. The annual economic impact for the region is $7,921,459.
