Business AfterSchool Medical Careers at Providence Simulation Lab
High school students are invited to the James W. Mounsey Clinical Simulation Lab at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children’s Hospital campus to participate in fun, hands-on learning stations while learning about a variety of health care career opportunities.
The SimLab utilizes high-tech, robotic mannequins to help train new and existing health care providers. Students will meet several caregivers representing different specialties throughout the Providence care continuum including nurses, respiratory therapists, radiology and medical lab technicians. It’s an opportunity to see the type of training needed and to explore the growing medical field as student's future career.
This workshop is specifically designed high school students.
