What Is A PTAC?

PTAC. You probably aren’t completely sure what that means, but you might have a general idea that it has to do with government contracting. Procurement Technical Assistance Center is what PTAC stands for and it assists businesses through the government-contracting marketplace. Washington PTAC’s mission is to increase the number of government contracts awarded to Washington firms so that those firms can grow. PTAC advises businesses on bid reviews, marketing assistance, contract performance, small business designations and more. PTAC hosts procurement training classes and seminars, and helps businesses register with the correct databases in order to compete for government contracts.

If you are interested in getting into government contracting, or you already are involved but want some more help or guidance, we have good news for you. At Greater Spokane Inc. We host region seven of Washington PTAC and serve Spokane, Adams, Asotin, Douglas, Ferry, Garfield, Lincoln, Okanogan, Pend Oreille, Stevens and Whitman counties. Please contact your local PTAC advisor, Aleesha Roedel, at [email protected] or at her direct line: (509) 321-3646 for any assistance you might require.
