Sweets Before Supper – A Fundraiser for Girl Scouts

Girl Scouts Eastern Washington & Northern Idaho would like you to join us at our gala event; Sweets before Supper on March 14 at the Historic Davenport.

This inaugural event is going to celebrate women leaders from all regions of our council.  Among our honorees will be, guest of honor, Washington Secretary of State Kim Wyman.  The evening will be hosted by Kris Crocker.  We are also looking forward to highlighting our 2019 Gold Award recipients.

The evening will kick off with Girl Scout Cookie inspired desserts prepared by local chefs.  Attendees will determine the winner of the best dessert of the night, and the winning chef will awarded during the dinner program.

The year 2020 has been proclaimed the year of the GIRL and this event will be paramount in helping us to achieve our mission of growing the next generation of Women leaders.  We are excited to be launching our STEM mobile this spring, bringing enriching hands on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math programs to youth throughout our 68,000 square mile region.  Your support and attendance at this event will allow us to send more girls to camp, giving them outdoor experiences that will grow their confidence.  It will also provide opportunities for girls to attend the National GIRL 2020 convention in October where they will have the opportunity to meet many prominent women leaders from all over the world and engage in programs and activities with Girl Scouts from around the country.
